A few notes on October and an upcoming event Spencer is hosting...
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
In observance of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Steven Dietrich, one of the folks in the Guild Wars 2 Community on Google+, inspired a few of us to go pink for the month.

Now, about Spencer's event...
Spencer is hosting an event tonight where we'll be traveling to a secret place he has found (that he claims even ArenaNet does not know exists). We'll be meeting up in Ebonhawke (town within Fields of Ruin) on the Dragonbrand server at 10 PM EST / 7 PM PST (adjust for your more interior timezone) and will follow him to the spot.
Things to bring to the event:
- If you can make them, some Watchwork Portal Devices
- The Portal Gun that makes you jump super far
- If you're an elementalist, have Ride the Lightning equipped
Some more notes from Spencer:
If you want, you can bring some food tables that we can set up, as I think it would be fun to have a banquet in my secret hideout. Please know that this will require some jumping, and it is possible that you will fall to death. But it'll be super awesome!
